The Hill Aerospace Museum requires 24” steel stanchions for collection security, visibility and display standardization. From our research, Casewerks is the only company that offers a custom option to fabricate steel stanchions at the required 24” height with the additional required feature of affixing signage directly to the stand rather than leaving it free-standing nearby. Additionally, other stanchions have retractable barrier tape, which do not meet collection protection requirements. The Casewerks stanchions use a non-retractable cord.

Set Aside: This is a Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 337215 - Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing, with small business size standard of 500 employees. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 9905 Signs, Advertising Displays, and Identification Plates.

The Hill Aerospace Museum, Hill Air Force Base, Utah requires 400 each Custom 24" High Freestanding Stanchion to include the following characteristics:

• Comply with ADA and professional museum standards

• Must be like CaseWerks freestanding Custom 24" High Freestanding Stanchions already in use

• Must be 24” freestanding steel rod with a 3/4" diameter (RAL9007)

• Must include steel threaded caps

• Caps must utilize CaseWerks spanner head tool

• Caps must permit the usage/attachment of elastic cord on two sides

• Must include a 9” steel base with neoprene pads

• Must utilize 5/16-18X1 socket head screw cap

• Must utilize 5/16 split lock washer

• All components must be powder coated in CaseWerks silver metallic finish that will match existing stanchions in museum

• Product must facilitate affixing signage option with screw

This is a brand name requirement. A Brand Name Justification is required and approved to ensure the required utility vehicles match the existing utility vehicles in use. See attached Brand Name Justification.

Dates of Delivery: Required delivery is on or before 60 days after receipt of order.

1. Offerors will be required to submit quoted prices for CLIN 0001.

2. Quoted prices shall be rounded to the nearest penny.

3. The submitted quote will be used for technical evaluation.

4. An offer that does not include proposed prices for all CLINs or a delivery date may be determined as a non-responsive offer.

5. In accordance with FAR 15.403-3(a)(1)(iii), to the extent necessary to determine a fair and reasonable price, submission of data other than certified cost or pricing data may be required.
