IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only (to determine the socioeconomic status of interested companies). No award will be made off this posting.

VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking qualified vendors who have an interest and capability of removing the existing tray line system and installing a new tray line system at the VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Salt Lake City, UT. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, project management, and materials to do conduct the replacement.

The requested items are listed below.

Must be able to remove existing tray-line system and install new system

Scope of work:
- Removal of the existing tray-line system. Includes disposal to back dock for scrap metal recycling
- Uncrate set in place new equipment.
- Make all final plumbing connection to equipment that require water, and drains. (Rough-in plumbing by others.)
- Provide and install new Nema 4X - Main breaker 225 amp electrical panel.
- Provide and install conduit, wire and new main breaker for new electrical panel. Service to be ran under floor.
- Provide and install cord drops for new equipment.
- Provide and install new power outlet for griddle. Outlet to be mounted on the side of the existing hood.
- Start-up, testing, and training on all new equipment by others
- Excludes: Shunts, and any fire control wiring if needed for existing hood for griddle.

PLUMBING And ELECTRICAL
- Provide, cut floor and install two new 12 floor sinks
- Core drill floor for water lines and an additional 4 core for new electrical service
- Run lines and rough in two new hot and cold water service next to floor sink
The work will be performed for the following locations:

Salt Lake City, UT 84148
IMPORTANT NOTE: This RFI (Request for Information) is for information only.
No award will be made from this RFI.

QUALIFIED VENDOR: A qualified source has the a) necessary equipment, vehicles, personnel, resources and current operations as well as b) recent experience (within past 3 years) of performing services of a comparable size, scope and complexity, AND c) OEM certified technicians to perform services with unrestricted access to the facility during inclement weather, as well as immediate access to OEM software updates. A qualified source also has current and valid registration in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov). A qualified source will also be able to comply with Limitations of Subcontracting pursuant to FAR 19.507.

Please communicate via e-mail to chris.hollingsworth@va.gov by 4:00 PM EST on May 3, 2023 as to your company s ability to perform service per this brief Scope of Work.

Indicate whether your company will self-perform services or state whether a third-party service provider will be utilized to provide the required services (note: Limitations on Subcontracting FAR 52.219-14, VAAR 852.219-74, 852.219-75, 852.219-77)
If a subcontractor will be utilized, provide their company name, socioeconomic category, and UEI
