NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services.
DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIMB intends to issue a RFQ for the acquisition of on-call technical telephone/email support, logistics, preventative/on-site maintenance, and calibration on Aeroflex & ADICTS systems under solicitation FA8227-23-R-9740. The anticipated period of performance will be one (1) base year plus four (4) optional years. The Aeroflex & ADICTS contract is required for the continued sustainment of technology infrastructure supportive of the 523/524 Electronic Maintenance Squadron (EMXS) mission to perform critical test functions important to the ongoing operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness of multiple Air Force weapon systems/subsystems. More detail information can be found in the draft performance work statement (PWS).
Anticipated CLIN structure and unit of issue will be as follows. Identical CLIN structure will be used for any option periods (calibration will not be needed for Option Year 2). Unit of issue for CLINs 0001 and 0007 (and associated option CLINs) will be Years.
