RFP for Construction Manage/General Contractor Remodel Project in North Logan, UT

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is soliciting for a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) to support a remodeling project on the SDL Innovation Campus in North Logan, UT. This project includes predesign and construction phases and involves the remodel of the 1695 Building on Innovation Campus will accommodate three new TVAC rooms in the former machine shop high-bay space and several adjoining lab areas, totaling approximately 8,000 SF.

The Solicitation for CM/GC, including submittal requirements, selection criteria and procurement schedule, will be available upon request starting Thursday, March 9, 2023, via emailing the Contracts Administrator, Mr. Rich McKinnon at rich.mckinnon@sdl.usu.edu. No others are to be contacted regarding this solicitation. The selection shall be under the Value Based Selection method.

A MANDATORY site visit will be held Thursday, March 16, at 11:00 AM MDT at the construction site in North Logan, UT. All companies intending to propose must have a representative at this meeting. Interested companies must submit information for their representatives by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, to Rich McKinnon (rich.mckinnon@sdl.usu.edu). Additional meeting information and pre-attendance instructions must be obtained from the Contracts Administrator as soon as possible.

Key dates for this activity are provided in the RFP documents which will be provided upon request, as appropriate, to General Contractors in good standing and licensed to work in the State of Utah. The purpose of the work restricts the distribution of this solicitation, and the Contracts Administrator will not release copies to ancillary companies (e.g., advertising, design services, subcontract/specialty services, etc.).
