ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
PACK CREEK BRIDGE WIDENING

The City of Moab will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Pack Creek Bridge Widening. All bids will be received until 2:00 pm, MDT (local time) at the City of Moab, located at 217 E. Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532 on July 27, 2023, at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the Contract Documents and as shown on the Construction Drawings.

The project consists of widening the existing bridge at 4th East over Pack Creek (UDOT Structure Number 019038F) to the east. The roadway work includes tie-in widening north and south of the bridge. The bridge work includes drilled shafts, abutment extensions, additional precast concrete girder, elastomeric pads, deck widening, expansion joint modification, and approach slab widening.

The ENGINEER for this Project will be Civil Science, Inc. and will be represented by Alan Yates, P.E. as Project Manager.

Any notices regarding changes / Addenda to the Contract Documents will be sent to the email addresses associated with the Bidders registration. Bidders are responsible to maintain accurate contact information and check-in with ENGINEER to receive updates or additional information.

A pre-bid conference will be held on July 6, 2023, at 1:30 PM, MDT (local time). Pre-bid conference will preside at the City of Moab Offices at 217 E. Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
